This is Austin Gatt. A cheap politician.
Austin Gatt is currently a protagonist in the oil scandal. Though no accusations have yet been made, his name is currently being associated with what is believed to be the worst scandal ever happened in the Maltese Islands.
Austin Gatt, being also one of the main members of the gonziPN clique has the whole gonziPN army defending him, including Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Simon Busuttil.
Let's take a gentleman. John Dalli.
Lately, John Dalli's name was also implicated in a tobacco scandal, apart from the fact that years ago he had already resigned from his ministerial post and proved to be politically framed up. John Dalli resigned immediately, although no proof has still been found. Lawrence Gonzi and the whole army did not just not defend the man representing their party, but were on the opposite side.
But it's different with people like Austin.
